Listening Sessions Provide Feedback for AEF

During January of 2019, the AOBA Educational Foundation (AEF) hosted a series of “Listening Sessions” around the Washington, DC region to solicit additional feedback from the marketplace, to “test” our strategic vision for the Foundation, and to ensure our efforts remain in alignment with the needs of employers.

The information gained during these Listening Sessions will be used to further refine AEF program offerings.  In addition, over the past few months, the AEF staff has met with representatives from many of the region’s educational institutions to build partnerships that will help us align the needs of  educators with those of area employers.

Through our unique position to bring all these stakeholders together, we are creating relationships in which we can share information to ensure we are aligned in support of a common mission: to introduce qualified candidates to stable, lucrative careers in building operations and the skilled trades.
